To submit a Congress Award Application, please review the Congress Award Guidelines below prior to submitting an application.

Application timeline

  • The call for Congress award applications until 31 March 2022.
  • Notification of Award will be on 30 April 2022.



To assist delegates to attend and present at the ICTMM2020, 200 Congress Awards will be provided.


  • Applicants have made a submission of an abstract for symposium, an oral or poster presentations and accepted to present in the Congress.
  • Applicants must provide
    • A short Curriculum Vitae (2 pages).
    • Successful applicants must be able to get a visa to attend the Congress in Thailand (if required).



To be eligible for a Congress Award, applicants must apply one of the following Awards:

Student Award:
In order to be eligible for the Award, applicants must

  • Be Master degree or Ph.D. candidates.
  • Be required to submit a proof of student status from their Universities / Institutes.

Early Career Scholar Award: Applicants are post-doctorate or early carrier scholar
In order to be eligible for the Award, applicants must

  • Be post-doctorate.
  • Be a Ph.D. or MD. graduate who graduated within the last 5 years (Applicants are required to submit a copy of their academic transcript/graduation certificate as proof that they graduated with a Ph.D. or MD. within the last 5 years (as at the start of the Congress on 24 October 2022), and are therefore eligible for the Award.
  • Reside outside of Thailand.


Low and Middle-Income Country Award:
In order to be eligible for the Award, applicants must

  • Be based in, and citizen of low or middle-income country (as defined by the World Bank).
  • Provide a letter of support from their organization (signed and on organizational letter head).



The ICTMM Congress Committee will make a decision on the applications based on the merit of the quality of the submission and the track record of the applicant. The successful applicants may receive either full or partial support. The decision of the Congress committee is final.


Application process and timeline

Application Requirements: All applicants are required to complete the ICTMM2020 Congress Award online application form through the online abstract submission system, along with all requested supporting documentation.

Changes to the Application: After the Congress Award submission deadline, no changes to the content can be made.

Transferability of Congress Award: Congress Awards are non-transferrable, with no exceptions. If a recipient is unable to accept or utilize a Congress award for any reason, the recipient must inform the Congress Secretariat at, and that grant will be awarded to the next qualified applicant.



Successful applicants will be notified by email prior to the Early Registration Deadline and must confirm acceptance by return email.
